The war in Ukraine is triggering the largest refugee movement in Europe since the Second World War.
You've seen the images of fleeing women and children on television. Millions of people are fleeing the war.
Germany has pledged to accept all refugees from Ukraine. These people, primarily women and their children, will be distributed throughout the country. The final destination will be the municipalities, the lowest level of responsibility.
Malterdingen also has to accommodate dozens of families. Malterdingen is a predominantly Christian community. Now, genuine and practical charity and assistance are needed.
We therefore ask you, as the owner of a vacant apartment/vacant living space or house, for your assistance.
Offer your living space to the municipality of Malterdingen as a tenant and conclude a rental agreement directly with us.
What this means for you in concrete terms is that your rent is secured and the municipality is liable for any damage to the rented premises. You also have a direct local contact person.
Please contact us immediately. Your contact person is Martin Klomfaß, Head of Administration (phone +0 76 44 / 91 11 18 or by email: main office(@)malterdingen.de).
If you wish, you can also contact me directly: Telephone 0 76 44 / 91 11 15 or bgm(@)malterdingen.de .
With kind regards from the town hall
Hartwig Busshardt
mayor
